About Peepers Reading Glasses:

We provide hundreds of fun reading glasses and feature styles from around the globe. Peepers is located in Michigan City, IN just outside of Chicago, IL in the heart of the Midwest. We pride ourselves on having great customer service with real people answering the phones, inspecting your packages and shipping your orders from our 20,000 sq. foot warehouse.

Peepers Reading Glasses is a subsidiary of Sammann Company which is a 4th generation family owned and operated business. How We Started:

We originally started as an importer and distributor of scissors, shears and fine cutlery. In 1975, the company bought See Aid Optical which produced various optical devices, magnifiers, eyeglass repair kits and some really ugly reading glasses.

After upgrading the design of the See Aid Optical eyeglass line and with a lot of input from Mz. Peepers (a.k.a. Terri Sammann), we introduced Peepers Reading Glasses in August of 1993. Terri was determined once she was of an age where reading glasses became necessary, she was going to have some fun designing colorful fun glasses she wanted to wear.

Our website Peeperspecs.com was launched in 1996 and ships to literally thousands of customers worldwide each year.
