  21. What strengths do Peepers come in?

A: Peepers offer an array of fun and funky styles that you’ll never see in a drug store.  We offer flexible hinges to keep frames comfortably in place. All of our readers offer aspheric lenses providing clearer vision and offer a wider, distortion field of view.  We also have a Signature Series line that features handmade materials and optical quality frames.  Drugstore readers cannot compare with our selection and quality product.

A: Absolutely!  When you click on any category of reading glasses on our site you can search by strength on the left hand side of the page. This allows you to narrow your results by the strength of glasses across the entire section. Also, you can simply type the strength/power desired in our product search box (such as 3.25) and click the search button. A: The vast majority of our styles feature a suede like case.  Our Signature line comes with a optical hard case.

A: You can search for Peepers retailers two ways through our store locator section.  The first way is simply by entering a US Zip Code or Canada postal code, then click search.  The second way is to view a list of retailers by state and their locations will appear.  If you have trouble finding a store near you, please give us a call at 800.348.2508 and we’ll be happy to help.

A: Orders are sent out in the order they are received and generally ship the following day they are placed.  We ship Monday through Friday, so orders placed on a weekend will not ship until Monday. For orders placed on our website, we will contact you when an item is out of stock so be sure to check your email in the days following to be sure there are no problems with your order.

A: We ship USPS First Class for all orders that qualify for free freight(orders over 42 USD).  We are in the Midwest so you can guess that the closer you are the less you'll wait and the farther away you are the longer it will take. Generally, orders should arrive within 2-5 business days via USPS First Class.  International Orders shipping International USPS will generally arrive within 10 to 15 business days. 

10 A: For those of you who need to see right NOW we offer UPS Next Business Day delivery.  When you order before 2:00pm CST your order will be delivered before the end of the following business day. Keep in mind we process orders the following day they are received online.  If you choose this option it will ship the following business day and arrive the next business day after that. Also remember that Saturday, Sunday, and holidays are not considered business days.  If you'd like to order Next Business Day and you live in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or a US Possession please call us at 1-219-872-4413 for a price estimate.  If you live in the Midwest (particularly Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, or Ohio) consider saving your money as USPS first class should be quick enough.

11 A: Yes, We ship to European EU Countries, UK, Norway, Australia and New Zealand.  If the order value is 75.00 USD or less we ship USPS Priority Mail. Orders totaling more than $75.00 USD must be shipped via USPS Priority Mail International for tracking purposes and will incur additional charges.  Shipping time is typically 10 to 15 business days. International shipping times do not include any unforeseen customs delays. Customers are encouraged to contact their local customs bureau for information on customs duties and/or limitations. is NOT responsible for any sales taxes, duties or any other fees if applied by the customs service in your country.

12 A: If upon receipt of your order, you’re not thrilled with the particular style or color just return them within 30 days of receipt. We will issue a refund, or if you wish you can exchange them for another style.  No hassle, no questions!  We guarantee our merchandise to be free of manufacturing defects and accept any defective item for refund or exchange within 30 days. Please note: We gladly accept returns of unused or defective merchandise within 30 days for a full refund. Your refund will be made in the form of the original payment. We can only accept returns or exchanges for items that were purchased on

13 A: Complete the return paperwork received with your package. Use the prepaid label found on your return paperwork to send your glasses back. (Note: There is a $3.95 fee for using this label. This fee is waived for all exchanges.) Simply put your return with the prepaid label back in your mailbox, drop off at the nearest post office, or ship back via the shipping method of your choice at your own expense. Once we receive your merchandise, we will process your exchange or provide credit to the original form of payment.  Please allow 5-10 business days for processing. 

14 A:  Peepers reading glasses can be adjusted by lying on a table and if one arm is higher than the other, lightly bend the frame the opposite direction and presto!

16 A: Depending on the model and style, minor repairs such as replacement screws and nose pads can be mailed directly to you if you wish to do it yourself.  Please contact the Peepers Customer Experience Team (800.348.2508 | prior to sending back merchandise. 

17 A: We do not make any frames with clear lenses. If you really want to wear glasses but do not need a prescription please consult with an optician about the cost of cutting plain glass lenses for a Peepers frame.

18 A: We have hundreds of options to choose from and we are continually coming out with new styles and colors so you are sure to find a look that is right for you.  Unfortunately, we do not do any custom work but we’re always open to fun suggestions.

19 A: We can switch the lenses when stronger magnification is needed in one eye over the other.  Customers will need to buy two pairs in both desired strengths. These glasses are non-returnable.

21 A:  The majority of our styles come in 1.25 through 3.00.  We carry strengths down to 1.00 and all the way up to 4.00 in select styles.  Simply type in the strength you would like in our search area OR narrow your results while shopping by clicking on the strength desired. 

22 A: The strength should be displayed on the inside of one of the side bows of your current pair. If you ordered from us previously we will have a copy of the strengths you ordered.  If you are buying reading glasses for the first time, please visit our eye-chart section.  The link can be found on our home page.

23 A: If you were a customer of Peepers prior to 6/1/2011 then chances are your account information was imported over to our new site. You can do one of three things to move forward with your order:
  1. Type in your e-mail address and password in the my account section of our site or anywhere you see the site asking for you to log in.
  2. You can also contact customer support to reset your password if you can't remember your log-in credentials.
  3. Contact customer support to delete your account information and you'll be able to check out moving forward without having to create an account.
